How to use promotions in your website

How to run a promotion in your store to increase your sales ?

Offering a discount on your products is a great way to attract attention, increase sales, and build customer loyalty. Here are some practical tips for successfully applying a discount on your items, as well as effective strategies to maximize its impact.

Step 1: Define the promotion type

Before launching an offer, choose the type of promotion that best suits your objectives

  • Direct discount: -20% on a specific product or category.
  • Bundle Offer: Buy 2 items, get the 3rd free.
  • Free delivery: very popular and often an incentive to purchase.
  • Discount coupon: to share on social media or send directly to your loyal customers.

Note: You can combine several of these promotion types at the same time to maximize your results.

Step 2: Apply the promotion in your Nanoshop storeGo to the Nanoshop app → Go to Product → Select your product → Tap Edit → Add a new price in addition to the initial price → Tap Save

  1. Open the Nanoshop app.
  2. Go to the product page of the product you wish to promote.
  3. Select your product, then tap Edit.
  4. Add a new price in addition to the initial price (for example: old crossed-out price + new promotional price).
  5. Press Save.

  1. Set the promotion's validity period (start and end dates) in the product description if the promotion is specific to a single product. Otherwise, specify it in the description on your store's homepage.

Step 3: Strategies to Make Your Promotion More Effective

  • Create a sense of urgency: Limit the duration of the promotion (for example: valid until Sunday at midnight) to encourage quick purchases.
  • Highlight the promotion: Display it in your homepage description, product descriptions, or through banners. Don't forget to promote it on your social media.
  • Choose your products wisely: Focus on bestsellers or products with high stock.
  • Build loyalty after the promotion: Add a thank you message, offer a future discount, or invite customers to subscribe to your newsletter.
